Managed IT for
Financial Services.

IT for firms the regulator is watching.

When you are FCA-regulated, an outage can become a regulatory event. A disruption to a client-facing service is reportable, and the client data you hold turns a bad day into a breach. KAVIX provides the white-glove IT support that keeps investment, wealth and asset managers resilient, audit-ready, and secure, across Canary Wharf, the City, and the rest of London.

Regulated Firms Carry
Risk Ordinary Businesses Do Not.

You hold client money, client positions, and client data, under the eye of a regulator that expects you to keep running through disruption and prove that you can. Your IT has to meet that bar every day, and hold it on the day someone checks.

Downtime that becomes a regulatory event

An outage that pushes an important business service beyond your impact tolerance is the kind of disruption the operational resilience rules are written about, and the kind your board has to answer for.

Fraud aimed at people who move money

Firms that authorise payments and instruct transfers are a prime target for business email compromise and counterparty impersonation. One convincing email to the wrong desk can move real money before anyone notices.

Client data you cannot afford to lose

Positions, valuations, and personal financial records sit across Microsoft 365 and your line-of-business systems. A ransomware hit or a mislaid laptop turns that into an ICO notification and a call to every client affected.

The Rules Now Expect You to Stay Running, and Prove It.

Since March 2025, the FCA and PRA operational resilience regime has applied in full. Firms must identify their important business services, set the maximum disruption they can tolerate, and show they can stay within it through a severe but plausible event. Your IT is where most of that is won or lost.

Support Built Around
Resilience and Evidence.

KAVIX runs the IT behind your regulated business so the parts a regulator cares about stay up and stay documented. Your line-of-business systems, your Microsoft 365, and the devices your team works from sit under one managed setup, watched around the clock.

We treat evidence as part of the job. Access is controlled, activity is logged, and recovery is tested, so when a regulator, an auditor or an institutional client asks how you would cope with disruption, the answer is already written down.

Two Weeks Before the Review.

A mid-sized wealth manager is preparing for an operational resilience review. A member of the operations team opens what looks like a custodian statement, and by morning the file server is encrypted and the portfolio system is unreachable.

Client valuations are due, an institutional client is mid-onboarding, and the review is a fortnight away. The firm now has to explain an incident it cannot fully reconstruct, with no clean record of how it responded.

With EDR stopping the attack at the first machine, backups that restore the systems in hours, and monitoring that logs every step of the response, the same event becomes a documented incident the firm can walk its regulator through. What decides which version you get is what was in place before the email landed.

Questions Financial Firms Ask.

Do you make our firm FCA-compliant?
No provider can do that, and any that claims to should worry you. Compliance sits with your firm. What we do is run the IT side of your obligations so the evidence is there when you need it: audit-ready logging, tested recovery, access controls, and resilience planning you can show a regulator or a client.
Can you support our operational resilience requirements?
Yes. We help you map the systems behind your important business services, test that they recover within your impact tolerances, and document the results, in line with the FCA and PRA operational resilience regime that has applied in full since March 2025.
Do you work with investment and wealth managers?
Yes. Investment managers, wealth and asset managers, brokers, advisers and payment firms all run on KAVIX. Tell us your permissions and systems and we will confirm exactly how we support them.
Where in London do you cover?
Across the capital, with a particular concentration in the financial districts. We have dedicated pages for Canary Wharf and the City of London, and engineers who reach both quickly when on-site work is needed.
Can you help with client due diligence and security questionnaires?
Yes. Institutional clients and counterparties increasingly send security questionnaires before they will trade with you. We help you answer them accurately and put the controls behind the answers in place.
What does switching to KAVIX involve for a regulated firm?
We handle the transition end to end and plan it around your reporting and trading calendar, so moving to us does not put a deadline or a service at risk. You get documentation of what changed for your own records.

Based in a financial district? See our dedicated pages for Canary Wharf and the City of London.
